•• All Oil used is genuine VW & Audi Group Oil - Longlife III, Platinum Oil. Castrol Longtec etc
•• For all servicing, maintenance & repairs of your vehicle all parts will be VW, Audi, Seat & Skoda Original Equipment or to a higher alternative.
•• Most VW & Audi Group Cambelt and Waterpump changes are recommended at 60,000 miles or 4/5 years which ever comes first - if in doubt please ask
•• All Cambelt & Waterpump changes include G12/G13 Anti-Freeze (included within the stated price).
•• DSG Gear box Oil & Filter changes are recommended at 40,000 miles or 4 years which ever comes first.
•• Haldex Oil (plus Filter on applicable vehicles) Change is due every 20,000 miles regardless of age if fitted to your vehicle.

Questions on if your car is still under Manufactures Warranty...

Does having my car serviced by JKM Motor Services Ltd whilst within the Manufactures warranty period - Affect the manufacturer’s guarantee?
No. As JKM Motor Services Ltd only fit and use Genuine Manufacture parts, have the specialist training, diagnostic tools and equipment and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and services schedules, your warranty is protected by Law.
JKM Motor Services Ltd undertake all service work in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines for the vehicle and hence this will not invalidate your warranty.
At JKM Motor Services Ltd we are confident our average labour charge is considerably less than your main dealer with all the benefits of a specialist repairer. So not only will your Manufactures warranty remain intact, JKM Motor Services Ltd will be able to make it easier on your finances as well.

Can I bring my new car to you for servicing or am I bound to the main dealer until the warranty expires?
Servicing restrictions were again lifted in June 2010 by the Office of Fair Trading.
Now by law, any servicing work carried out by trained personnel, using equipment fit for the task (Genuine original equipment) and following the manufacturer’s recommended service procedures, cannot affect the warranty of the vehicle.
To summarise, you are free to take your car to an independent garage for its servicing provided these are carried out in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.


Are there any downsides to having my Car serviced by JKM Motor Service Ltd ?
From a servicing perspective there are no downsides. However JKM do advise customer that if work is found to be required that is considered ‘manufactures warrantee covered work’ – say for example a component was found to have prematurely failed, then this will need to be confirmed by and the warrantee work undertaken by, a suitably authorised main dealership.
